Encouraged by a friend to enter FHM’s annual Model Search competition, Celeste went on to be a Top 10 finalist, as voted for by the public. This kick-started her passion for modeling, with numerous photoshoots, ad campaigns, editorials, music videos and onscreen appearances under her belt, all within a short space of time.

Although Celeste Stanley now resides in Johannesburg, Gauteng, she grew up in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga and studied finance in Pretoria. She works in strategic projects for a large commercial bank and is a few months away from qualifying as a Chartered Management Accountant. She skillfully balances her busy schedule in order to pursue her modeling passion and is a lover of fashion, travel and the finer things in life…

Q&A with Celeste Stanley

How did you get into modelling?
In 2009, a friend encouraged me to entered FHM’s annual model search. I ended up making it as a Top 10 finalist (which presented me with all kinds of opportunities) and I discovered a new passion in modeling.

Favourite Lingerie?
Definitely La Senza … I spend way too much money there!

Favourite Alcoholic Beverage?
Chilled Savignon Blanc

Favourite Perfume?
Michael Kors

Cats or Dogs?
Dogs – they’re loyal and always so happy to see you. I have two cutest miniature malteses.

What do you look for in a guy?
I’m attracted to intelligent men who have a great sense of humour, strength of character and a spirit for adventure.

Tea or Coffee?
Rooibos tea or coffee – depends on what my body wants.

If you had 3 wishes what would they be?
Hmmmm, good question! At the end of the day, all I wish for myself and those I love is health, happiness and many beautiful moments together.
